WWW: Some excellent posts – but also some missing work.
The photo storyboard contains some superb shots with accurate explanations and
your discussion of representation for the LIAR analysis of Insurgent is
probably the best I’ve read so far. That’s the toughest key concept and you’re
already picking out some very interesting ideas.
EBI: You need to post your missing work: no fruit bowl;
no Minority Report shot-by-shot analysis. For the photo storyboard, some of
your shots are great but you’re lacking close-ups – particularly towards the
end. That’s how the audience develops an emotional connection with characters.
For the LIAR poster analysis, Institution needs to improve – you can’t just
cut-and-paste from the internet.
LR: Post the two missing pieces of work. Then, reflect on
your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so
far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to
develop over the rest of the course?
